News: Extreme motors 1 and 2 Extreme motors finish first and second in the WA Supercharged Outlaws 2014/2015 championship. With both drivers finishing the season on equal points, the championship was decided on a count back. Greg James in his first full season of racing, driving the 357 Small Block Chevy powered Lamborghini, finished in first place and Wayne Batson was runner up in his 510 cube Big Block chevy powered Torana. With only eight of the nine scheduled race meeting being run, the Extreme powered Outlaw cars finished with five wins - Greg two, Wayne one and Ben Hoar in the Nova with two. Four second place finishes - Greg two & Wayne two. One third place finish (B final win) - Wayne. This was Ben Hoar's first season racing the Chevy Nova in Supercharged Outlaws and after two wins he had put everyone on notice. With an outstanding driving effort it looked like he was going to be a contender for the championship. But with several transmission and trans brake failures thoughout the season his hopes were dashed. All in all, a great season of racing with many challenges along the way - but that's racing. |
